Concerts
Christmas Performance at The Lawrence Memorial Hospital On December 15, 2003, Students from the Effingham Youth String Music Program joined with members of the Americana Academy of Music to provide entertainment for the employees of the Lawrence Memorial Hospital at their annual Christmas dinner and party. Later in the evening, students played for the children who were patients in the pediatric ward of the hospital.
Playing Christmas Music for Students and Teachers
On December 20, 2002, and on December 22, 2003 the last days of school before Christmas vacation, the members of the beginning violin class strolled through all of the classrooms, at the Effingham Middle School, playing Christmas music for the students and teachers.
The 2003 Middle School Christmas Music Program
On December 16, 2002, the beginning violin class made its first public appearance in the Effingham Middle School Christmas Music Program. On December 22, 2003, students from the Effingham Youth String Music Program performed selections of Christmas music for parents, teachers, and students.
The 2003 Middle School Spring Music Concert On April 30, 2003, the beginning violin class played several selections of violin and fiddle music for parents, teachers, and members of the community, as a part of the Middle School Spring Music Program.
